Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski popularly known by the name Paul Wesley, is an multi-award winning actor, producer and director best known for his role in the popular television drama series The Vampire Diaries. His role on the television series has garnered him several awards, nominations and accolades. This includes the Teen Choice Awards and the "Young Hollywood Awards". Wesley, who was born in New Brunswick New Jersey and raised in America, United States, showed interest in acting in his early school days. Later on, he went to Rutgers University. Once he realised that his talents as an actor could make a difference in a career, he decided to drop out. In the beginning, he was a part of an episode of the American TV show Another World. A few years later, he starred as the lead character in 'Wolf Lake a TV series aired by the CBS network. In the popular American television show The Vampire Diaries he played in the leading role Stefan Salvatore. The show has also seen him direct a few episodes. Since when he first made his debut in film with The Last Run, he's seen in numerous popular movies. Recently, he appeared as a character in Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as well as supporting roles. He's also quite famous on social media sites with more than 13 million followers on Instagram as well as 4.1 million followers on Twitter.
